Mailto Encoder

We’ve been using different techniques to protect our clients from spam such as encoding the email addresses we publish on their sites. Seeing how helpful this was we decided to make a tool that helps with that task that’s easy for anyone to use.
Our little email encoder is a simple service that takes your address and provides a javascript code to replace it. This code encrypts your email and uses the information (in an obfuscated way) to recreate the address on the client side.
The algorithm that makes the conversion works entirely with Javascript, on the client side, so no address is sent to us.
